Coming Attractions is a women’s fashion boutique clothing store, specializing women's in art-to-wear, natural fiber clothing—such as silk, hemp, linen, cotton, rayon and bamboo. We also carry high quality leather, canvas, faux leather and novelty handbags; artisan jewelry; hats; shoes; Baggallini travel bags and other womens clothing and accessories. What is unique about Coming Attractions is that we temper our concern about style and fashion with an equal devotion to quality and value.
We are not a faddish fashion boutique. Indeed, many customers tell us that the fabrics we use and the quality of our textiles would make them able to recognize our clothes in the dark—just by the luxurious way they feel. Many of our designers, including Yasuko Kurisaka and Renee Sherrer use handwoven fabrics. URU makes clothing of the finest silk—and everything they make is so well done that it can be washed and dried by machine, and never need ironing. Many of our boutique lines are One Size which offers a more comfortable fit. Other designers—Cynthia Ashby, Itemz and Flax—make clothes of the finest quality linen. We advise our customers to wash linens by machine and never iron it. This works well when the quality of the linen is high. Even our jeans, by Mu Makers, are special. They are made by a small, pioneering company in Los Angeles that puts all of its efforts into research that creates the best-fitting jeans in the world and fabrics that make the jeans wear well and last. They don’twaste money on advertising. They don’t have to because women in the know, women of style, who want comfort and fit, will always seek out Mu Jeans.
Coming Attractions Boutique has existed as a women’s clothing and fashion store, or boutique for more than 20 years here in Amador County. Althouh our website is fairly new, we have long experience in judging fit, comfort and quality—and in knowing what women want to wear.
